This policy covers both Auralmonic apps — Auralmonic: Binaural Beats and Auralmonic: Tinnitus Relief — and the web player ("the app").
Auralmonic is designed to respect your privacy. We built it to work without accounts and to keep your use of it private. This policy explains what is and isn't collected.
Auralmonic has no account, no login, and no profile. The audio is generated on your device. We collect no personal information — no name, email, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
Mixes you save are stored only on your device (and in your browser's local storage on the web player). They are never uploaded to a server. If you share a mix, the share link itself contains the mix's sound settings (mode, frequencies, noise, and the name you gave it) — anyone you send the link to can see those settings. A share link contains no personal information and nothing about you.
The pitch you match for your tinnitus, and the results of the Hearing Check (how high you hear in each ear, the relative audiogram, and the tinnitus loudness, masking and residual-quiet measures), are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to a server and never included in analytics: the usage events for these features record only that a match or a check happened, never the pitch or the result.
Auralmonic: Binaural Beats can save a finished session to your device's health app — Apple Health on iOS, Health Connect on Android — as a mindfulness session: a start time, an end time, and nothing else. This is off until you allow it, and the app asks only after you complete a session of at least three minutes.
The permission is write-only. Auralmonic does not request, read, receive, or store any health data about you — not the sessions it writes, and nothing else in your health record. Health data written by the app stays on your device under your health app's control; it is never sent to our servers or to anyone else, and it is not used for analytics, advertising, or profiling. You can revoke the permission at any time in Apple Health or Health Connect, and you can delete anything the app wrote from within those apps. Auralmonic: Tinnitus Relief does not connect to Apple Health or Health Connect at all.
To understand which features matter, the app and the web player send a small number of anonymous usage events (for example: app opened, a session was played and for how long — including the mode and beat frequency in use — a mix was saved or shared) to our own server. These events carry a random, app-generated identifier that is not linked to your name, email, device serial, advertising ID, or any account — we couldn't connect it to you if we wanted to. No audio, no personal content, no mix names, and no precise location is ever collected, and we use no third-party analytics service.
If you choose to subscribe or buy the lifetime unlock, the purchase is handled by the store you bought it from (Apple's App Store or Google Play) and processed through RevenueCat, which we use to manage subscriptions and restore purchases. To do this, RevenueCat receives your purchase/transaction information and an anonymous, app-generated identifier (and a device identifier provided by the platform). This is used only to deliver and restore your purchase and is not linked to your name, email, or any account. We never receive your payment-card details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
The app may use Apple's standard crash reporting if you have opted into sharing diagnostics with developers in your device settings. This contains no personal content and is anonymized by Apple.
Auralmonic is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
