Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

A phone speaker is a thin membrane. Low tones move it the furthest, which pushes water droplets out through the speaker grille — the same idea Apple Watch uses after a swim. The app plays a 38-second program of low pulses, steady tones and sweeps through your phone's own speaker.

What can't it do?

It helps with water in the speaker only. It can't dry a charging port, a microphone or the inside of your phone, and it doesn't repair water damage. If your phone was submerged or isn't working normally, power it off and follow your phone maker's guidance.

Why won't it play with my headphones connected?

On purpose. The tone is loud and low and meant only for your phone's own speaker — never for your ears. Disconnect headphones or Bluetooth audio and it plays through the speaker. If a headset connects while it's playing, it stops immediately.

How do I get the best result?

Turn the volume all the way up, hold the phone speaker-down, and run the program. If it still sounds muffled, gently wipe the grille, run it again, and give the phone time to air-dry.

What's free and what does Pro add?

One full clear per day and the sound check are free. Pro is a one-time purchase of $2.99 — unlimited clears and a custom tone you can tune from 60 to 500 Hz. No subscription and no ads.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the menu in the app and tap Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with.
